| Valeriy started painting in childhood. At
the age of nine he was accepted to art school for children. After
finishing there he studied at Krasnoyarsk Art Junior College, where
he learned the basics of realistic painting. He graduated from junior
college with honors and in 1982 entered Moscow Art College of V. Surikov.
For six years he learned European styles and techniques. Part of his
education was copying masterpieces of Russian and European art in
teaching him still life, portrait and landscape techniques. After
graduating from college Valeriy was an art instructor and worked as
an assistant to Professor A. Znak Krasnoyarsk Art College.
Valeriy has taken part in national and international
exhibits. His works enjoy popularity in Japan, Germany, and Cyprus.
Many of Valeriy’s works are included in private collections
in Russia, Germany, Cyprus, and France. He works in the European
style of realism and lighting.
